That’s Mr. Pollard to you. Me and Jason have been friends and brothers in film for going on a decade now. But I always tease him because he doesn’t remember when we first met — a good 7 years before that back when he was a goofy 17-year-old and I was a goofy 18-year-old. Now he’s producing, editing, Sundance-ing. Real big.

Though we shot back in July, this chilly winter is the perfect time to finally show of the video I shot for Thaddeus Clark’s Hi-8. The saturday farmers’ market in Brooklyn is where I make a weekly vow to cut back on fast food. Then monday night football comes on, and there’s the buffalo wing place right downstairs from the studio.

The news of the larger Occupy Wall Street protests was lost in the Steve Jobs tidal wave, but the discontent was no less potent. Ironically, many of the non-professional photographers there were snapping away on their iPhones. I was too.

On Saturday morning young Morales and I hit the streets to see what the city had to offer. There were food products and carved statues.
