Black Rain is sourced from images collected by the twin satellite, solar mission, STEREO. Here we see the HI (Heliospheric Imager) visual data as it tracks interplanetary space for solar wind and CME’s (coronal mass ejections) heading towards Earth. Skies and Lines Jul 12 2008
Call this an expansion of the painted sky theory espoused previously. This one is from Central Florida, and taken at the appropriate hour. There is simply no cloud that looks like this hovering over any part of NYC or the boroughs.
Oh, and I can’t get enough of shooting things on this floor apparently.
